Best burgers iv got from a fish and chips shop in a long time. We ordered the egg burger, super steak burger and captains catch burger with tarakihi. Will definitely be going back. Chips were cooked perfect too. The man in there was juggling everything on his own also. Only downfall is the shop was a little run down with boxes stacked up against the walls but food was delicious

A diamond in the rough. What an incredible meal, for a great price, and a wizard of a cook. The gentleman working at the time we came in was juggling multiple orders, handling payment, answering the phone and still managed to put out the best fish and chips we had in all of New Zealand. The batter is the most flavourful of any we've tried ANYWHERE, and everything was super fresh. Sadly, he ruined fish and chips for me anywhere else, so we'll have to come back to NZ just to eat here again. Incredible!

Delicious! Hoki fish had incredible batter. Our party of 7 ate it and couldn't get enough. They also loved the cinnamon flavoured pineapple fritter and yum battered hot dogs. Thank you!

We rang through our order and were told it would be ready in 12 minutes and it was very fast service. Light tempura batter that's comparatively non greasy for a fish-n-chip shop. Fish portions were generous ... we ordered too much because we expected smaller pieces of fish. Nicely cooked food. Crispy ...yet fish was still moist and juicy. Potato fritters were substantial and probably hand cut. We were given extras of these too. We will return.
